We are seeking a Solution Architect with expertise in MS Cloud technologies for an EU agency based in Amsterdam. This role requires 100% on-site presence.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development and review of end-to-end domain architecture and processes aligned with strategic business requirements. Identify benefits of various strategies.
2. Ensure alignment between business strategies, enterprise architecture, and technology directions by establishing strategies, policies, standards, and practices.
3. Develop and present business cases for high-level initiatives to secure approvals.
4. Create and communicate multiple design perspectives to address stakeholder concerns, balancing functional and non-functional requirements. Evaluate alternative design options and tradeoffs.
5. Document and justify domain architecture decisions, assessing and managing associated risks.
6. Ensure selected platforms and components for domain solutions are integrated to meet objectives.
7. Provide effort and cost estimates along with work breakdown structures.
8. Present domain architecture to governance bodies, address architectural actions, and participate in IT governance processes.
9. Collaborate with architects to develop solutions following the agency's architectural principles.
10. Partner with Platform Architects from the Strategic Platforms department to assess and optimize domain requirements and align with platform architecture.
11. Coordinate with the Enterprise Architect from the CIO Office to ensure compatibility with broader enterprise architecture.
12. Work with Customer Portfolio Leads from the Customer Advocacy Department to incorporate business needs into technical solutions and platform architecture.
13. Contribute to solution testing and identify improvements in processes and strategic platforms.
14. Collaborate with Business Analysis to identify and mitigate risks throughout the solution lifecycle.
15. Support knowledge transfer and transparent communication regarding risks, issues, and dependencies.
16. Identify process and product improvements based on requirements and design agreements.

Your Profile:

• Master's degree in an IT-related field.
• At least 8 years of experience as a Solution Architect.
• Professional qualifications in designing cloud-based solutions (e.g., Azure, PowerApps, Portal, MS Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, Salesforce).
• Certifications such as BCS, TOGAF, SWEBOK, or equivalent in architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies, including Dynamics Portals and SharePoint Online.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, SDLC, and ServiceNow modules (IT Operations Management, Visibility, IT Service Management, Customer Service) is preferred.
