VECTOR SYNERGY sp. z o.o. seeks a Profile no. 4.B Solution Architect to join a multi-year modernization program for the IT infrastructure at a NATO center in La Spezia, Italy.

The role requires evaluating technology options, designing security architectures, leading cloud migration and enterprise-wide initiatives, and contributing to RFI/RFP tasks. Fluent English and NATO Secret clearance are preferred; 8+ years' experience desirable.

The selected candidate will be working as a key contributor to a multi-year project on modernization of the IT infrastructure of the center. The role involves working as an integral part of a project team and will be involved activities such as: Evaluating and recommending technology solutions that align with business objectives and policies, conducting thorough assessments of emerging tools, platforms, and services. Designing comprehensive security architectures and performing technical risk assessments to ensure robust, compliant infrastructure solutions. Leading enterprise-wide technology initiatives from conception through implementation, including developing cloud migration strategies and driving infrastructure modernization. Providing input to RFI and RFP documents for the procurement of IT hardware and services. Below is a description of the requirements for the profile: Extensive background in enterprise technology planning and implementation, with hands-on experience in cloud platforms, infrastructure transformation and cloud native tools l Strong foundation in modern technology stacks, cloud platforms, security principles, and enterprise architecture frameworks ; Demonstrated success in technology evaluation, vendor management, and executing large-scale migration projects ; Experience working with international organization or public sector ; Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, NAF4, etc.) and ability to balance technical requirements with business constraints ; Ability to translate business vision into actionable technical strategies while considering long-term organizational impact and industry trends ; Professional experience working within agile frameworks while maintaining architectural governance and guiding teams through iterative delivery ; Demonstrated capability to identify creative solutions to complex business and technical challenges while managing constraints and risks . In addition, the ideal candidate shall have: Very good level of spoken and written English (SLP 3333) ; NATO Secret PSC ; A minimum of 8 years of experience Professional certifications in relevant and related fields are highly desirable, for example: Azure Solution Architect, AWS Solution Architect, Scrum, Agile PM, PRINCE2, CISSP, TOGAF, ITIL.
