In Sateliot we are looking for a Product Associate, willing to face the challenges of a fast-growing space telecom startup

Ready to be part of the challenge?

Who we are

Sateliot is a Barcelona-based Startup in the New Space sector, becoming the first satellite telecommunications operator that will provide global and continuous connectivity to all the elements that will make up the massive Internet of Things (IoT) universe under the 5G protocol.

In order to do so, Sateliot is launching a constellation of last-generation nanosatellites at low altitudes that act as mobile towers. Sateliot is the perfect complement for large telecommunications companies by providing them with the necessary infrastructure where terrestrial technologies do not arrive.

Your mission

The Product Associate is responsible for driving the adoption and implementation of our technology solutions by managing pilot programs, proofs of concept (POCs), and product marketing efforts while ensuring alignment with ecosystem stakeholders and industry standards. In this role, you will oversee the successful execution of pilots and POCs, build collaboration with mobile network operators (MNOs), value-added service (VAS) providers, and device manufacturers, and contribute to the development of the product roadmap.

You will work closely with internal teams, industry partners, and regulatory bodies to support communication strategies, increase ecosystem visibility, and align our solutions with market demands. This role also involves managing interdepartmental coordination to address communication gaps and ensure seamless workflows across technical, marketing, and standards teams.

In addition to leading product demonstrations at key industry events, you will consolidate insights from pilot programs to inform product and system requirements, translating findings into actionable strategies to enhance performance, reliability, and interoperability. By aligning our roadmap with evolving ecosystem needs and standardization processes, you will play a critical role in positioning the organization for growth and reinforcing its leadership in the telecommunications and satellite domains.

Your main functions

  • Manage the execution of pilot programs and proofs of concept (POCs) for NB-IoT and satellite enabled solutions, ensuring the successful deployment of commercial evaluation kits and demonstration devices.
  • Coordinate with mobile network operators (MNOs), value-added service (VAS) providers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and other stakeholders to formalize pilot projects, ensuring alignment with their technical and operational requirements.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor pilot outcomes, ensuring measurable success metrics for technology validation and scalability.
  • Collect and analyze data from POCs and pilots, translating findings into actionable system and product requirements, and providing clear feedback to internal development teams.
  • Manage API integration efforts, ensuring interoperability between NB-IoT and satellite communication workflows, while addressing technical dependencies and resolving integration challenges.
  • Build and implement detailed guidelines and instructions for ecosystem partners, including carriers, VAS providers, and OEMs, to facilitate seamless deployment and operationalization of pilot programs.
  • Support communication and marketing teams in creating campaigns that highlight successful pilot outcomes and amplify ecosystem visibility, including leading product demonstrations at industry events such as GSMA and Embedded World.
  • Collaborate with standards and regulatory teams to ensure that product features and requirements are reflected in relevant technical specifications and meet industry compliance requirements.
  • Identify and address communication challenges across departments, implementing initiatives that streamline collaboration between technical, marketing, and ecosystem teams.
  • Engage with chip manufacturers, module vendors, and network operators to gather insights and incorporate their feedback into the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with market demands and future technology releases.
  • Contribute to the development and prioritization of the product roadmap by leveraging insights from pilot programs, market trends, and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous innovation and product enhancement.
  • Lead initiatives to build partnerships within the ecosystem that create new business opportunities and strengthen the organization's market positioning.
  • Support the organization's standards work by tracking industry developments, identifying new requirements, and participating in working groups to contribute to evolving protocols and specifications.
