Job Description:

At Claire Joster Executive, we are seeking a Country HR Manager for one of our clients, a well-known Group supporting major brands in deploying their international digital strategies.

Organization: Office in Barcelona (90 people), reporting to the local General Manager and the Global HR Director based in Paris. You will lead the HR function of the Spain office in Barcelona.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting managers throughout the managerial cycle (recruitment, review process, compensation, talent management, conflicts, and departures) in compliance with local regulations and group policies.
  2. Understanding business challenges and acting as a change agent to support organizational changes in line with company culture.
  3. Supporting employees during their lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, training, internal mobility, offboarding).
  4. Contributing to a positive social climate through works council meetings, internal communications, and town hall discussions.
  5. Ensuring a fun and comfortable workplace by developing HR policies, processes, and tools.
  6. Fostering group culture and implementing global projects locally (talent management, HRIS).
  7. Managing HR campaigns (performance management, talent management, succession planning, compensation reviews) and participating in international HR projects.
  8. Managing payroll in partnership with an external vendor.
  9. Managing one HR Assistant/Office Manager.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in human resource management.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Manager, or HR Business Partner, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in a dynamic, multinational, and multicultural environment.
  • Knowledge of Spanish labor laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work with senior leaders and top management, assess complex issues, and provide HR guidance.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
