The Portfolio Management Team oversees the operation of every solar and energy storage project within NextEnergy Capital's funds, spanning multiple countries. This team plays a crucial role in managing the entire lifecycle of these projects, from acquisition to asset disposal.

This position involves collaborating with the investment team to ensure seamless handovers of acquired projects, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key contracts, including sale and purchase agreements, during the lifetime of the investment.

In addition to contract management, this role requires expertise in writing contracts that safeguard business interests. The individual will also be responsible for ensuring consistent information flow into internal and external reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage specific assets or portfolios, ensuring delivery of the investment case.
• Support the handover of acquired projects, ensuring alignment and cooperation among involved areas.
• Manage key project contracts, including sale and purchase agreements.
• Be conversant in contract writing, incorporating necessary legal clauses.
• Ensure consistent oversight of information flow into internal and external reporting.
• Time management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication skills (English or other European languages).
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to bring fresh ideas.
• IT literacy and comfort with data analysis.
• Delivery focus and ability to meet deadlines.

Experience & Qualifications :

• 3-5 years of experience as an asset manager or portfolio manager in the renewable energy market.
• Experience in managing solar assets in Iberia and / or Chile, knowledge of the market and key players.
• Bachelor's degree with a quantitative focus (Finance, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, Mathematics).
