Software Support Consultant

On our path to becoming the benchmark in software engineering for the sheet metal industry, we are looking for a Software Support Consultant who wants to keep growing in an environment where teamwork, generosity, and ambition play a key role in developing systems capable of providing agility and acceleration to industrial manufacturing.

What will you do?

As a part of the Global Support Software team, you will work cooperating closely with other support teams and the Software and Control team performing the following tasks :

• Support and enable first level support teams in the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of our Smart Factory software applications.
• Provide top-tier support to our clients with the Smart Factory software, addressing their software-related inquiries and issues promptly and effectively and reporting bugs to the software development team.
• Collaborate with the software development team to address and resolve complex technical problems of our clients.
• Cooperate with technology support teams to diagnose and resolve issues related to our advanced manufacturing systems.
• Be an internal advocate for product needs and customer needs, aligning with product owners and product management team.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the client, building strong partnerships to improve the client’s business processes and operation with our software applications.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and testing teams to ensure continuous improvement of the software and internal processes.
• Contribute to complex Smart Factory implementation projects in collaboration with the software solutions team.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's / master’s degree, preferably in Computer or Telecom Engineering or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of communicating fluently and effectively in English.
• 2+ years’ experience in software support.
• Ability to work in a structured way and to focus on multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with the sheet metal industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of CAM, MES and ERP applications.
