We're located in sunny Barcelona, Spain, just a short walk away from the beach, and we're hiring several Software QA Engineers to integrate into our growing agile teams. Reporting to your Team Lead, you will be ready to push the boundaries of digital change and join a growing team with an amazing work environment in this hybrid working model.

Job Description

As part of your daily work you will:

• Participate in translating high-level requirements into comprehensive behavioral scenarios based on Gherkin.
• Maintain the proposed scenarios coverage with Cucumber -JVM.
• Be involved in all phases of the development cycle (from Analysis to Delivery).
• Deliver a valuable increment to the business in every sprint.
• Help improve your team's way of working.
• Provide component support to client needs.

You will join an international technology consultancy, where you will gain an excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies and will experience the newest development technologies. Qualifications

At a minimum, you have…

• Technical background (Degree in software design, engineering computer science, engineering telecommunications).
• 1 - 2+ years' experience in the Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering domain.
• Understanding of QA methodologies and the role of QA in the software development lifecycle.
• Create test plans and detailed test cases to achieve thoughtful test coverage of the features.
• Understand the basic concepts of object-oriented programming.
• SQL basic knowledge.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team development skills; ability to work with people of varying backgrounds, technical abilities, languages, and cultures; read and write in English at a business-professional level.
• Adapt quickly and solve problems.
• Interpret technical and team goals.

It will be a plus if you have…

• Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum methodology ideal).
• Experience with test automation.
• Experience working with Behavior-driven Development (BDD).
• You have worked with Bugs and Task management systems (JIRA).
• GitHub basic knowledge.
