As a pioneer Zinio operates online web newsstands and award-winning iOS and Android apps, providing access to digital magazines & articles in more than 30 languages, which can be read online and offline on any platform.

Zinio Pro converts print magazines to digital content through a Software as a service (SaaS) platform that transforms PDF to other formats such as XML, ePub, or ANF and distributes it to different platforms such as Amazon Kindle, Apple News, or Zinio Pro’s white label publisher web and mobile apps.

The company has delivered 750M digital magazine editions across more than 8.5k titles from 1.3k publishers in 200 countries to over 10M customers.

We are looking for the best and brightest minds in QA. Become part of an agile team of highly skilled and motivated individuals in our Barcelona office.

What you will be doing:

• Define appropriate measures to ensure product quality.
• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests (functional/non-functional, regression, acceptance, and integration testing).
• Develop and maintain testing frameworks architecture.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Developers to understand product specifics and create corresponding test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
• Provide technical vision by selecting the most suitable technology stack for testing needs.
• Ensure documentation is clear, reliable, and up to date.

What we expect from you:

• Java or any other Object-Oriented Programming Language for writing automated tests.
• Must have: +2 years of hands-on experience in automation.
• Experience in either mobile or backend test automation:
  • For Mobile Automation: Experience with Appium or similar tools, testing mobile applications (iOS and Android), and knowledge of device farm tools.
  • For Backend Automation: Experience testing REST APIs, using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.

Nice to have:

• Experience testing web or desktop applications.
• Familiarity with TestNG, Jenkins, Gherkin/Cucumber, CI/CD, and Gradle.
• ISTQB certification or similar testing certifications.
• Strong English communication skills.
