What you will do

• Lead the development and convergence of embedded software functions in the ECU, ensuring alignment with project planning and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the complete software development lifecycle, including internal and external supplier coordination, validation, and risk resolution.
• Oversee hardware development of the ECU, including scheduling, component strategy, and industrialization processes.
• Ensure system-level integration and validation of both software and hardware components.
• Define and manage project needs such as factory configuration files and control laws.
• Monitor and optimize software performance metrics (ROM, RAM, CPU, NMVY) to ensure compatibility.
• Prepare and support Life Series activities and ensure long-term sustainability of the ECU systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure technical and economic optimization of product/process development.

What we’re looking for

• A proven track record in leading automotive software projects and managing ECU hardware development.
• Engineering degree required; Master’s in Automotive, Electronics, or Software Development preferred.
• Excellent skills in software validation and supplier coordination.
• Strong competencies in problem-solving and project management, with a collaborative approach.
• Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; French is valued.
