GMV Spain in Madrid seeks a Software/Computer/Telecommunications Engineer for the Galileo ground-segment team. You will develop, maintain and evolve mission-critical systems in UNIX/Linux, using Java and Git, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

Within the software development team of the ground segment, they specialize in the development, maintenance, and evolution of systems and applications crucial for mission safety. Here, you will not only have the opportunity to deeply understand the operation of the Galileo system, but also to influence its future evolution. You will enhance your skills in key management and critical system maintenance, acquiring valuable skills for your career in the space sector, especially in KMF and encryption.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for a Software, Computer, or Telecommunications Engineer who has experience with:

• Working in UNIX / Linux-based environments
• Programming languages: Java
• Version control systems: Git

We will also value previous experience with other languages such as C++ and Python, and knowledge in databases such as MySQL and Oracle.
