Job Description

The Regional Customer Center Spain, based in Barcelona, focuses on South Europe and Latam countries, including Brazil, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Panama, and Uruguay.

Your role

Design, program, and test IT software that implements custom functionality in material handling systems, including business logic, controls for logistical transport, communication with external systems, reporting, data analysis, and emulation.

Integrate custom software modules with standard platform software to deliver customer solutions, requiring proactive, process-oriented, and people skills.

Ensure high-quality operation of IT infrastructure such as applications, databases, and networks, collaborating with Operation and Services Teams for service continuity.

Your responsibilities

  • Create project configurations and detailed application designs.
  • Develop software and interfaces, verify components, and create unit tests.
  • Deploy, verify, and support systems in factory and customer sites.
  • Manage documentation and project deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, provide support, and escalate as needed.
  • Collaborate with Engineers, Project Managers, and other team members across projects.
  • Report to the IT Software Team Leader.

Your profile

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Systems or Software Engineering, experience in real-time systems, and at least 2 years in software development with C# and SQL Server. Knowledge of SQL, TCP / IP, Angular, .NET, Jira, and Bitbucket is essential. Fluency in English and Spanish (B2 level) is required. Proven API implementation experience and strong communication skills are important. Willingness to travel is expected.
