We are seeking a

Software Engineer

to join our team and

work full-time

remotely within Spain

to support a leading multinational client.

Responsibilities :

1. Design, code, and program enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compilers, networking, utilities, databases, and internet-related tools.
2. Analyze design requirements and determine coding, programming, and integration activities based on general objectives and overall architecture knowledge.
3. Write and execute comprehensive testing plans, protocols, and documentation; identify and debug issues, and develop solutions for code and integration problems.
4. Lead and participate as a member of project teams involving other software engineers, customer experience teams, and external development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low to moderately complex HP 3D Software Solutions.
5. Collaborate and communicate with internal teams and outsourced partners regarding software design, project progress, and issue resolution.
6. Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff members.

Required qualifications :

1. Typically, 3 years of verifiable experience in software design and coding with Golang.
2. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
3. Experience designing software systems across multiple platform types.
4. Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including test plan execution, debugging, and testing tools.
5. Experience with cloud development.
6. Experience developing REST API services, and familiarity with XML and JSON.
7. Familiarity with AGILE methodologies, including SCRUM and Test Driven Development.
8. Strong communication skills in English and the local language.
9. Ability to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate options.
