Overview

You’ll join an expert annotation team to create training data for the world's most advanced AI models. No previous AI experience is necessary. You'll get your foot in the door with one of the most prominent players in the AI / LLM space today. We seek software engineers with 3+ years of experience to train large AI language models, helping cutting-edge generative AI models write better code. Projects typically include discrete, highly variable problems that involve engaging with these models as they learn to code. We currently have 200+ roles open!

What Will I Be Doing?

• Evaluating the quality of AI-generated code, including human-readable summaries of your rationale.
• Solve coding problems, writing functional and efficient code.
• Writing robust test cases to confirm code works efficiently and effectively.
• Solving coding challenges, creating instructions to help others, reviewing code before it goes into the model, with a variety of projects from Python code comparisons to full mobile app development and chatbot improvements.

Pay Rates

Spain : $20.19

Expect 15+ hours per week, with no upper limit. Some work 20-40 hours, others 40+ hours weekly. Payment is weekly, based on hours worked.

Long-term engagement is expected for at least 2 years. You can end the contract anytime, with a preference for a 12-month commitment.

Flexible Schedules

Developers can set their own hours, with a preference for 40 hours/week. Strong performers adapt to project urgency and stay engaged, with flexibility to take breaks like a 3-hour lunch. Payment is based on time spent on the platform, calculated through coding exercises.

Interview Process

If shortlisted, you'll complete an async RLHF code review within 72 hours, taking 35 minutes. Credentials to the RLHF platform will be provided, followed by a group call for onboarding questions. The final step is a simulated production-level RLHF task, which determines your employment and level. Success opens opportunities for project work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a software engineering/development role.
• Complete fluency in English.
• Ability to articulate complex scientific concepts clearly.
• Attention to detail and consistency in writing.
• Strong understanding of grammar, punctuation, and style.
• Proficiency in Python.
