Overview

The Platform team builds and maintains backend services such as payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs.

This role is ideal for someone strategic, fast-paced, passionate about product decisions, and experienced in creating delightful user experiences.

We operate as a flat organization, encouraging leadership through technical excellence and results. Strong work ethic, communication skills, and a winning mindset are essential.

Our interview process involves several technical rounds, typically completed within a week.

Data Team Role

We are hiring for our AI data team. This role manages data collection to support model training, building high-quality datasets at petabyte scale efficiently through integrated infrastructure, engineering, and research.

Responsibilities

• Identify new audio data sources and integrate them into our ingestion pipeline.
• Manage and extend our cloud infrastructure on GCP using Terraform.
• Work with scientists to optimize cost, throughput, and data quality to support next-generation models.
• Collaborate with AI team and leadership to develop the dataset roadmap for upcoming products.

Ideal Candidate

• BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years industry experience in software development.
• Proficient in bash / Python scripting on Linux.
• Experience with Docker, Infrastructure-as-Code, and GCP.
• Experience with web crawlers and large-scale data workflows is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
