The role emphasizes C#/.NET and Python development, real-time processing, and integration with industrial hardware, while applying design patterns, UML, and CI/CD practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain industrial software solutions in manufacturing environments.
• Define software architecture and components with patterns and UML documentation.
• Develop multi-threaded and asynchronous apps for real-time image acquisition and data management.
• Integrate software with hardware (cameras, PLCs, field devices) using standard industrial protocols.
• Optimize latency, throughput, reliability, and memory usage in 24/7 production settings.
• Maintain data persistence and integrate with relational databases for traceability and reporting.
• Collaborate with AI, controls, and mechanical teams to deliver automation solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD practices, and Git source control.
• Support commissioning, deployment, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for engineering teams.

Job Description

As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that power industrial automation systems in manufacturing environments. You will work closely with AI, controls, and mechanical engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and production-ready applications that support continuous plant operations and digital manufacturing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain industrial software applications using C# (.NET) and Python.
• Define software architecture and component designs, applying design patterns and documenting solutions with UML.
• Develop multi-threaded and asynchronous applications for real-time image acquisition, processing, and data management.
• Integrate software with industrial hardware, including cameras, PLCs, and field devices using standard industrial communication protocols.
• Optimize application performance, focusing on latency, throughput, reliability, and memory efficiency in 24/7 production environments.
• Design and maintain data persistence solutions and database integrations to support traceability and production reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver and support automation, AI, and manufacturing solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain source control using Git, and contribute to testing and CI/CD practices.
• Support software commissioning, deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement at manufacturing and customer sites.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and share knowledge across engineering teams.

Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in software development for industrial, embedded, real-time, or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in C# (.NET) and Python, including object-oriented design and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with software architecture, design patterns, UML modeling, concurrent programming, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Git, relational databases (PostgreSQL or SQL Server), and collaborative software development practices.
