Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Senior Scala Engineer to join our team at an exciting stage of growth. This role is a key position for their backend team growth, from developing and enhancing to optimizing backend performance.

Responsibilities:

• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, as we’re passionate about automation and efficient tooling.
• Take pride in creating, building, and delivering high-quality, well-engineered solutions to complex challenges.
• Adopt a holistic approach to problem-solving, ensuring the solution integrates seamlessly within the larger system.
• Practical experience with commercial Scala and Functional Programming (candidates with relevant commercial backgrounds, such as Java, and some non-commercial Scala experience may also be considered).
• Possess experience across the entire engineering lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
• Experience building software which deploys to both on-premise and cloud environments.
