Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer you will be responsible for shaping software structure and implementation in alignment with the architectural vision and design simplicity.

Responsibilities

• Define software structure to comply with the architectural vision and maintain design simplicity.
• Implement new requirements using test-driven development.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of system design on Azure.
• Contribute to and utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Work within a scrum framework: planning and grooming sessions during sprints; review user stories and test cases.
• Analyze root causes of defects to provide comprehensive fixes for issues.
• Act as a quality champion for delivered solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Effectively handle escalations and high-priority issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (typically 5 years) as a Software Engineer with a significant backend focus.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET framework, and SQL.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to analyze problems and implement solutions using debugging tools; provide mentorship and participate in daily scrum activities.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies including Scrum and Test-Driven Development.
• Proficiency in English for communication with colleagues.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Web API RESTful applications and JavaScript.
• Front-end experience with accessibility programming.
• Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies.
