Board International is seeking a detail-oriented Software Engineer to join the R&D team in our Madrid office. You will contribute to the software development life cycle, collaborating with Developers and Product Managers, under the Platform Development Lead.

We offer a hybrid work model with 3 days in office and 2 days remote each week, enabling collaboration and productivity in a balanced setup.

Formación

• Academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with Angular/AngularJs, TypeScript, HTML & CSS.
• Exposure to unit/integration testing.
• Knowledge of ASP.NET 4.8/Core, C#, Web API 2; SOLID principles preferred.
• Azure Cloud familiarity; Kubernetes and Docker a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Handle software development, evaluation and definition of functionalities.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Draft structure and design of the system.
• Produce clean, efficient code.
• Recommend and initiate improvements.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented, tech savvy Software Engineer to join the R&D team in our Madrid office. Reporting to the Platform Development Lead, you will actively contribute to the software development life cycle, working closely with other qualified Developers and Product Managers.

We embrace flexibility through a hybrid working schedule, with 3 days at the office and 2 days working from home each week, fostering a balance of collaboration and productivity.

Main duties:

• Handle software development, evaluation and definition of specific functionalities, design and coding of components
• Translate requirements into technical specifications for software development
• Participate in the drafting of the structure and application design of the system
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
• Recommend and initiate improvements
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

What we look for:

• Academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Working knowledge of Angular/AngularJs,TypeScript, HTML& CSS
• Previous exposure to unit/integration testing
• Knowledge of Microsoft ASP.NET 4.8/Core, C#, Web API 2 and SOLID principles is preferable
• Experience with Azure Cloud, Kubernetes/Docker will be considered a plus
• Systematic approach and a keen eye for detail
• Natural aptitude to teamworkand continuous learning
• Fluency in English
