Descripción del empleo

PVHardware (PVH) is a company specialized in solar trackers for large-scale photovoltaic plants (mainly utility-scale). We are already more than 1,500 people worldwide, and the R&D team (both software and hardware) includes around 60 members, with a strong technical level and, above all, an excellent work environment.

This is a software solution that runs on an industrial PC and is responsible for remotely and securely controlling a large number of single-axis solar trackers. Communication with these devices is done via LoRaWAN networks, using third-party gateways, but the physical controllers for the trackers are of our own design. The central system must ensure efficient, safe, and robust operation at all times, even under adverse weather conditions. Cybersecurity, system resilience, and software design quality are key aspects of this development, which combines distributed control, industrial automation, and connectivity in a demanding environment.

The Position:

Defining software solutions aligned with the company's product strategy, leading a technically strong team in the development and evolution of a large-scale distributed control system.

The Team:

A team of 6-7 people, talented, autonomous, and practical-minded. Committed to robust design, efficiency, and protection against adverse events.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Define the architecture of robust and maintainable software systems.
  • Coordinate the development team and ensure the quality of deliverables.
  • Design and validate solutions operating on distributed infrastructure in industrial environments.
  • Apply cybersecurity principles from the design phase.
  • Oversee technical documentation and validation plans.
  • Promote continuous improvement and technical excellence in every iteration.
Requirements:
  • Experience in agile project management.
  • Strong background in software design and development.
  • Ability to lead technical teams with vision and sound judgment.
  • Attention to detail regarding security, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Commitment to product quality and documentation.
What We Offer:
  • Permanent contract with the legally established probation period.
  • Free medical insurance for the employee and subsidized coverage for direct family members.
  • Life insurance.
  • Meal card worth €60 per month, combined with flexible compensation up to the legal limit.
  • Subsidized childcare voucher worth €50 per month, combined with flexible compensation up to the payment limit.
  • Birthday day off if it falls on a weekday.
  • Work on high-impact projects with major clients at both national and international levels.
  • A dynamic and rewarding professional development environment.
  • A young, multidisciplinary team working on innovative projects with goal-oriented management.
