This role offers the chance to influence technical direction and mentor junior engineers, all within a dynamic and diverse environment. If you're passionate about software development and eager to make a global impact, this opportunity is perfect for you.
The mission of the EU INTech Consumer Selection Discovery teams is to help customers find, evaluate, and compare products they like, need, or want. Our vision is that every customer should be confident in finding the best product for their specific needs and preferences at the best value with very low effort. We believe that each customer and their situation require specific attention, so we build delightful shopping experiences tailored to the customer's mission. We innovate from the EU for the WW customer, partnering with WW business and tech teams from Softlines, Consumables, Hardlines, and other platform/host teams. We strive to find the right customer experience for each product family while delivering a cohesive sitewide CX.
Key job responsibilities
We are looking for passionate software development engineers who enjoy solving highly ambiguous and challenging problems at a global scale. You will be responsible for major components of the team, designing, developing, delivering, and supporting various software applications in collaboration with diverse roles and partner teams worldwide. You will influence technical direction, drive operational excellence, and maintain quality in team deliverables. Additionally, you will have opportunities to learn from high-performing teams and mentor junior members.
Note: You do not need to meet every requirement to apply. If you're excited about joining us and believe you have the potential, we want to hear from you.
A day in the life
Our engineers work on various retail components: Search, Detail Page, Cart, Checkout, Post-Purchase. We build end-to-end solutions from idea and technical design to implementation and experimentation. You will collaborate directly with PMTs and UX designers to flesh out software requirements. While we own some components, expect to work with other teams. For services we own, be prepared for DevOps tasks—optimizing CI/CD pipelines and maintaining high operational excellence standards.
