About the Role

As a team member, you will collaborate with business partners, engineers, testers, and UI/UX designers to design, implement, test, document, and maintain complex software applications and systems. Your influence will shape product features, system architecture, and best practices to ensure quality and innovation. This role offers opportunities to learn new technologies, develop leadership skills, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, implement, test, and document distributed software applications, tools, and systems.
2. Translate functional requirements into robust, efficient solutions within the system architecture.
3. Evaluate and decide on the use of new or existing software products and tools.
4. Mentor junior engineers.

About the Team

The Fire TV 3P engineering team aims to deliver innovative experiences on third-party devices, impacting billions of viewers worldwide. We are establishing a new team to develop tools and technologies that will transform how third-party partners build their Fire TV-enabled devices, with exciting projects and launches planned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Professional software development experience (non-internship).
• Experience designing or architecting scalable and reliable systems.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, testing, and operations.
