Job Title

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER 2

Summary of the Role

You’ll support the stability and usability of Amadeus Test Systems by investigating functional issues, coordinating with technical teams, and contributing to continuous improvement. This role is key to ensuring a high-quality experience for internal and external users.

In This Role You’ll

• Investigate and resolve functional issues across Amadeus applications, coordinating with development and operations teams to ensure timely recovery and service continuity.
• Monitor system performance and usability, proactively identifying issues and contributing to problem management and long-term solutions.
• Support incident and problem management processes, including root cause analysis and reporting, in alignment with service level agreements.
• Contribute to test automation efforts, including designing and maintaining functional test scripts and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate in agile and DevOps environments, sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Ideal Candidate

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in software development or quality assurance.
• Experience with functional testing, incident management, and performance monitoring in complex systems.
• Familiarity with SQL, scripting languages, and test automation tools such as Selenium or Robot Framework.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and cultural contexts.
• Experience with agile development practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or HP ALM.
