Responsibilities
- Design, write, and test solutions, including writing automated tests at unit, integration, and functional levels to drive code quality.
- Support and guide junior team members and collaborate with consultants, developers, and project managers via Slack, email, and Jira tickets.
- Ensure quality practices are adhered to and troubleshoot builds and deployments.
- Work with the team to develop secure cloud native applications deployed in AWS and serverless/micro‑service architecture with extensible REST APIs.
- Consult internal tools and Jira, Git, Gitlab.
Qualifications
- Experience with React, Webpack, JavaScript ES2015 / ES2016, and static typing in JavaScript.
- Testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, Karma, Mocha, Sinon, Cypress, JPhantomJS, or Jasmine.
- Front‑end best practices with HTML5 and CSS.
- Experience in one database storage technology and languages (e.g., SQL/RDBMS like Postgres or NoSQL like DynamoDB).
- Java experience with JUnit, Maven, Gradle, and Mockito to build and test.
- Understanding of serverless and micro‑services oriented architecture with extensible REST APIs and consuming these in JavaScript or Java.
- Experience with Atlassian products and APIs such as Jira, Bamboo, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies like Kanban or Scrum.
- Experience with public cloud offerings (AWS, AWS Lambda, Fargate, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3) and Docker containers.
