Descripción del empleo

The Software Developer plans, develops, tests and maintains software solutions. In this role you will manage the technical design and the application development, including testing the developed software. This also includes support and consultation activities in the concept phase of the planned application.

You will

• Analyze functional requirements and gather the necessary information, particularly in terms of data, processes and periodicities, with a view to developing applications, meeting defined deadlines and quality standards.
• Collaborate in the design of application solutions, based on defined functional requirements and interaction with client areas, in order to ensure correct development of the required functionalities.
• Execute application programming or functionality modifications resulting from assigned development requests.
• Carry out application maintenance activities to ensure the correct functioning of applications in production.
• Carry out unit and integration tests with the aim of guaranteeing the quality and reliability of applications put into production, fulfilling the defined functional requirements.
• Prepare documentation relating to the application developed or the functionality changes made, in order to characterize the functional designs, technical requirements and programming elements.
• Develop software in agile teams and implement software engineering techniques and methods.
• Work directly with local teams in Portugal.
• Knowledge of software engineering and programming languages.
• Expertise in demand, configuration, release, deployment and test management.
• Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experienced developer over object oriented languages like Java.
• Experienced in HTML5, CSS and Angular2+. Knowledge on Spring Boot, Maven, Git and GitHub. Knowledge on architecture and web services (HTTP, SOAP, REST – microservices, JSON).
• Knowledge of EPAC solutions.
