Formación

• 5+ años liderando equipos de desarrollo de software en entornos financieros complejos.
• Experiencia sólida en mercados globales, idealmente en el área de Equities.
• Experiencia demostrada en metodologías Agile y Waterfall.

Responsabilidades

• Dirigir un equipo de desarrollo centrado en soluciones tecnológicas de Equities.
• Gestionar ciclos de vida del proyecto: presupuestación, ejecución y gestión de entrega.
• Desarrollar y mentorizar al equipo, fomentando una cultura de ingeniería de alto rendimiento.

About the Role

At BBVA Corporate & Investment Banking , we are looking for a Software Delivery Manager to lead a cross-functional development team in the Equity Engineering space.

This is a hybrid technical/functional position (with a technical emphasis), integrated within our Global Markets discipline. You will be responsible for delivering critical technology solutions to support Equity-related business products.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a development team focused on Equities technology solutions , ensuring performance, efficiency, and alignment with business goals.
  

• Work closely with Product Owners to manage roadmaps, resource planning, and delivery timelines.
  

• Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle : budgeting, execution, delivery management, and stakeholder reporting.
  

• Align product and technology strategies to support regulatory compliance and business growth.
  

• Develop and mentor your team, fostering a high-performance engineering culture.
  

• Manage partnerships with tech vendors and ensure long-term, sustainable delivery models.
  

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

• 5+ years leading software development teams in complex financial environments.
  

• Strong background in Global Markets , ideally in Equity or related areas.
  

• Demonstrated experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  

• Prior experience managing distributed teams and vendor relationships.
  

Technical Skills:

• Desirable knowledge in Java and/or Python .
  

• Familiarity with systems like Murex, Calypso or similars and integration APIs.
  

• Advanced grasp of market technologies and financial systems.
  

Other Requirements:

• Good communication skills in English .
  

• Ability to coordinate across multiple geographies and stakeholders (Spain, EU, LatAm, US).
