The role you’ll play

As a Software Architect, you will guide a team of over 70 engineers, focusing on two main areas: software architecture excellence and team mentoring. You will define best practices for architecture and documentation, and ensure their adoption across the organization. Additionally, you will support developers in making sound architecture decisions through coaching, constructive feedback, and governance.

Your work will enhance the platform’s scalability, stability, and maintainability, and significantly contribute to the motivation and development of the engineering team.

The team you’ll be a part of

You will join the Platform Engineering Tribe, working closely with the Director of Platform Engineering on global architecture initiatives. The tribe engages in strategic projects, balancing hands-on development with architectural oversight, collaborating with highly skilled engineers.

1. Define and promote our technical and architectural vision and strategy.
2. Lead company-wide technology transformations.
3. Establish and monitor architecture best practices and governance.

Ensure successful execution of complex, multi-team projects by supporting senior developers in architecture design and decision-making.

Ensuring the right team & skills

• Assess and advise on the skills and development needs of senior developers.
• Assist in recruiting senior technical roles in collaboration with HR.

**Desired experience and competencies**

To succeed, you should have:

• Proven experience in developing complex SaaS solutions and re-architecting systems.
• Strong knowledge of modern programming languages (C#, Python, Java).
• Deep experience with REST APIs, cloud-native development, and microservices.
• DevOps skills: CI/CD, automation, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and visualization skills.
• Fluent English skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of Azure & GCP cloud platforms.
• Experience with OKRs and AI-enabled development.
