Role overview

Join ILKARI’s dynamic Product Development team as a Software Architect, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology. Reporting to the Head of Architecture, you’ll design secure, scalable, and robust systems that drive innovation across Cloud, Automation, Software Orchestration, and Monitoring domains. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture roadmaps and deliver solutions that are built to run, secure by design, and tailored to customer needs.

What You’ll Do

• Translate business needs into practical, high-impact technical solutions.
• Define architecture roadmaps and design scalable systems aligned with ILKARI’s growth strategy.
• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of software platforms.
• Mentor engineers and architects while promoting best practices in clean code and automation.
• Drive innovation with cloud technologies (OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Ensure architectural governance and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
• Create clear and actionable technical documentation.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and propose enhancements that increase performance and resilience.

What We’re Looking For

Technical Skills

• Strong grasp of cloud-native design, microservices, and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• Deep expertise across multiple cloud platforms, especially OpenStack.
• Sound knowledge of systems architecture, security principles, and CI / CD pipelines.

Soft Skills

• Clear communicator and confident collaborator across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strategic thinker with a practical, solution-driven mindset.
• Passion for mentoring and knowledge-sharing.
• Adaptable to change and comfortable navigating complex technical challenges .

Experience

• 5+ years in software or systems architecture roles.
• Proven experience designing and leading complex software platforms in cloud environments.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
