What you'll do:
As a Software Architect focused on Event-Driven Architecture, you’ll help design scalable, reliable systems and guide teams in applying best practices to deliver real value through event-driven solutions. Here's an overview of what you'll be doing:
Lead the design and evolution of event-driven architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with business goals. Guide teams in the adoption of Kafka and related technologies, promoting architecture standards and reusable patterns. Define and improve event modeling practices, including schema design and contract governance. Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical decisions with product and business requirements. Support the establishment of EDA governance processes, including documentation, lifecycle, and quality validation.
What you'll need:
We are looking for individuals with strong analytical and communication skills,
who can work independently and bring clarity to complex integration challenges. You'll thrive in this role if you bring:
At least
5 years
of overall experience in IT, including a minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience with
Apache Kafka
in production environments. Strong grasp of
EDA principles
, including event design, streaming, lifecycle management, and governance. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Good organization skills and a clear
customer orientation
. Fluent
Spanish and English
. Experience with the following technologies is a
plus
: Java, Spring, Elastic, Confluent Stack, Docker, AWS, GCP, Azure or Kubernetes. You are based in
Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia or Gijón,
or are willing to relocate.
