Mimacom is seeking a Software Architect in Valencia, Spain. You will design and implement scalable architectures, coordinate client teams, and drive integrations, using Java, Spring, and Kafka among other technologies.

Join a team that values open source, collaboration, and modern cloud platforms. This on-site role requires residency or relocation within Spain, with strong English and Spanish communication and a track record of architectural leadership.

Formación

• Experience as a Software Architect with Java and Spring.
• Interest in event-oriented platforms based on Kafka.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive and open-minded with passion for open source and new tech.
• Strong organization and fluency in Spanish and English.
• Based in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia or Gijón.
• Bonus: Elastic, Confluent Stack, Docker, AWS, GCP, Azure, or Kubernetes.

What You'll Do

As part of our team, your contributions will help today’s leading companies stay ahead by collaborating with some of the most innovative organizations in Europe. Here's an overview of what you'll be doing : Designing technical solutions and participating in their implementation by actively gathering needs and requirements, providing estimates, and proposing and advising on different approaches. Defining technical architectures and integrating solutions with external systems. Improving the performance of final solutions by identifying and implementing enhancements. Coordinating the client’s technical teams to ensure effective as a point of reference and subject-matter expert for teams, clients, and stakeholders, demonstrating deep expertise in event-driven platforms and various technologies. Contributing to communities of practice to deepen, share, and acquire knowledge about design principles, architectural patterns, and software development in general.

What You'll Need

We are seeking individuals who are team players with an analytical mindset. Beyond that, you’ll succeed in this role if you’ve got the following qualifications : Experience as a Software Architect, with a background in software architecture with technologies Java and Spring. Interest in working with event-oriented platforms based on Kafka. You can communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proactive and open-minded personality, with a passion for open source, new technologies and agile software development. Good organization skills and a clear customer Spanish and English. You are based in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia or Gijón. Experience with the following technologies is a plus : Elastic, Confluent Stack, Docker, AWS, GCP, Azure or Kubernetes.
