At Minor Hotels, we are looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in managing, analysing, and optimising brand social media channels. This is not just an internship, it’s an opportunity to become a pro in social media marketing for businesses, learning how to merge creativity with data to make impactful decisions.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN & DO

  • Data-Driven Social Media Strategy – Learn to measure and interpret the performance of our social media channels (B2B & B2C).
  • Content & Campaign Analysis – Dive deep into performance metrics, engagement trends, and audience insights to refine our content strategy.
  • Trend Spotting & Innovation – Stay ahead of what’s happening in the world of social media and contribute fresh ideas that align with our brand identity.
  • Content Performance & Optimisation – Support content creation strategies and learn how to make content perform better through data analysis.
  • Cross-Platform Management – Assist in managing our social media presence across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Brand Monitoring & Reputation Management – Understand how to track brand sentiment and audience conversations in real-time.
  • Campaign Experimentation – Work on special projects like new hotel openings, travel-driven activations, and creative projects.
  • Influencer Marketing (Bonus Learning) – Get exposure to how partnerships with content creators work from an analytical perspective.
  • Hands-On Training – Collaborate with a team of social media experts and gain real-world skills in hospitality social media marketing.

By the end of this internship, you will master the art of social media marketing with an analytical and creative mindset, making you a strong candidate for any role in social media, especially in the hospitality and travel industry.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • No prior work experience required! However, personal projects, university courses, or previous internships in social media marketing, analytics, or content creation are highly valued.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or currently studying) in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, or related fields.
  • A passion for social media marketing and a desire to learn from experts in the field.
  • Having a valid passport, ready for travel and content creation, is a must.

PREFERRED SKILLS

We don’t expect you to have years of experience—but we do expect you to be curious, proactive, and eager to learn. If you love social media and want to understand how it works from a business perspective, this internship is for you!

  • Strong analytical mindset – you enjoy looking at numbers and understanding what they mean.
  • Passion for creative social media strategies – you know what makes content engaging.
  • Deep interest in trends, algorithms, and audience behaviours.
  • Basic understanding of social media insights, KPIs, and reporting tools (any prior knowledge of analytics tools is a plus!).
  • A self-starter who is curious, adaptable, and eager to experiment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (Spanish & English).
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks at once.

CONDITIONS

  • The role will be based in Spain Madrid Sales Offices (Santa Engracia 120).
  • Duration: 6 months + 6 months (1 full year).
  • Full-time internship.
