Job Description: Social Media & Influencer Marketing Specialist
You will support the Social Media Team Lead in creating, planning, managing, monitoring, and improving zooplus's Social Media, Community, and Influencer Relations strategies across all social media channels.
- Develop social media content and execute high-level social media and influencer campaigns globally in collaboration with European Social Media Managers.
- Implement a comprehensive influencer marketing strategy aligned with marketing goals, identify new opportunities, and manage influencer partnerships to maximize brand reach and engagement.
- Plan, execute, and manage influencer campaigns from conception to completion, negotiate contracts, and nurture long-term relationships with influencers and content creators.
- Stay updated on trends and technological developments in social media and influencer marketing, and execute innovative storytelling to enhance zooplus's industry-leading online presence.
- Create engaging social media content that inspires sharing, working closely with Content Marketing, Campaign Management, Vendor Management, and Own Brands teams to reflect business goals.
- Generate monthly social media and influencer marketing reports, monitor KPIs, and oversee brand reputation on social media.
- Assist the Team Lead with performance reports across all social media channels and ensure brand consistency in tone, voice, and terminology across countries.
- Support the management of Own Brand and Supplier bookings and collaborate to improve channel strategies, especially on Meta, Pinterest, and TikTok.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of professional experience managing social media accounts, including TikTok, with a background in Social Media, Communications, or Online/Influencer Marketing.
- University degree in Economics, Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related fields.
- Strong sense for social media and influencer content, online storytelling, and analytical skills.
- Tech-savvy with up-to-date knowledge of online marketing trends, social media, influencer marketing, and e-commerce.
- Creative problem-solving skills, initiative, and reliability.
- Proven ability to create engaging content for platforms like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube, including copywriting, imagery, and video.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and a goal-oriented, team-oriented work style.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and experience with multi-social posting tools and influencer marketing tools.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
- Fluent in English and Italian at a native level.
