Responsibilities

The Art Director for Social Media is responsible for the creation of ideas, content, activations, and campaigns for social media. They will work alongside the Social Media Copywriter and under the supervision of the Social Media Creative Director.

Based on the creative brief developed by the social media strategy team, they will develop concepts and ideas. They will also create the visual direction for social media assets such as campaigns, videos, photos, and interactive assets among others to make them relevant and visually appealing on social media.

  1. Determine the best way to bring the ideas and concepts to another level visually.
  2. Determine which photographs, art, or other design elements to use.
  3. Develop the overall look or style of the assets involving the campaigns or marketing actions.
  4. Review and approve designs, artwork, photography and graphic developments both by staff members or providers.
  5. Talk to clients to develop an artistic approach and style.
  6. Be serious developing on the established timings based on agency needs.
Qualifications
  1. Proven experience of at least 3 years in an advertising or social media agency.
  2. Passion for video, 3D, motion graphics, and/or editing skills are a BIG plus.
  3. Demonstrable experience with automotive marketing is a good to have.
  4. Proven experience as Art Director.
  5. Must be self-motivated, and able to manage both ideation projects and art design supervision.
