The role involves working within a close-knit team of Information Security Specialists to provide security operations, handle incidents, and improve cybersecurity measures. The ideal candidate should possess technical expertise in security tools and strong bilingual communication skills.

Formación

• Previous experience as a SOC Analyst.
• Strong incident response experience.
• Knowledge of EDR/XDR, Web Application Firewalls, and IDS.

Background

We are partnered with an innovative IT solutions provider based in Spain, working with clients globally. Following a recent promotion, they are looking for a SOC Analyst to join their team of 6 Analysts.

Reporting to the SOC Team Leader, you will be part of a team of Information Security Specialists, handling incidents and improving tools. Your role will involve delivering reactive and proactive Security Operations services to reduce business risk. You will utilize IDS, SIEM, EDR, and other cybersecurity tools, performing analysis during incident response to enhance security measures and protect the business from future attacks.

This role operates on a 4 on 4 off rotation and includes an on-call rota (approximately one week every 8 weeks).

Requirements

• Previous experience as a SOC Analyst
• Technical knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, Web Application Firewalls, EDR/XDR
• Understanding of IDS, anti-malware, cybersecurity technologies, network traffic analysis, and networking principles
• Strong incident response experience
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills
