As a Software Engineer...

You will be part of our Claims team, responsible for the full development lifecycle of the reimbursement claims decision-making process. Your work will involve analyzing veterinary documents and invoices, implementing automated validation systems to determine coverage eligibility, and handling over €50 million in reimbursements annually, with potential savings of €2 million for the company. This is a high-impact role.

The Claims team automates pet health insurance claims processing. When pet owners request reimbursement via our app by uploading documents, our system analyzes these to make accurate coverage decisions, considering complex scenarios like pre-existing conditions, waiting periods, and policy terms. You will work on cutting-edge solutions using OCR to extract text, LLMs to interpret medical language, and business rules to apply policy conditions.

Your contributions will help to:

• Minimize claim resolution times
• Automate validation of coverage conditions
• Improve user experience and transparency
• Detect potential fraud or inconsistencies
• Support our veterinary team with AI-assisted decision-making

We are also building a large database of structured clinical data for future innovations.
