About the Role

As a Sitecore Software Developer focused on BAU and SLA support, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing live Sitecore environments. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and client teams to resolve incidents, implement updates, and ensure the stability and performance of mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• SLA / BAU Support : Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, and defects in live Sitecore XP / XM environments.
• Maintenance & Upgrades : Apply patches, security updates, and minor version upgrades to Sitecore platforms.
• Troubleshooting & Performance : Diagnose and resolve logging, profiling, and performance issues.
• Integrations : Collaborate with APIs and third-party connectors (e.g., DAM, CRM, Search, CDP) to troubleshoot integration issues.
• CI / CD & DevOps : Support build and deployment pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Docker, TDS / Unicorn.
• Collaboration : Work alongside senior engineers and client teams to scope fixes, deploy releases, and validate solutions.
• Documentation : Maintain runbooks, knowledge articles, and root-cause analyses to enhance SLA playbooks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Required Skills

• 2–5 years of professional experience in C# / .NET web development.
• Experience with Sitecore XP (9.x or 10.x), including Helix conventions, SXA, or Experience Editor.
• Familiarity with Solr / Lucene, xConnect, Sitecore Items Service, or Sitecore PowerShell Extensions.
• Proficiency with CI / CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, TDS / Unicorn.
• Solid SQL Server skills, including query writing and optimization.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills, including log and trace analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a remote, distributed team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Sitecore XP / XM / JSS or headless implementations.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure App Services.
• Exposure to enterprise search tools like Azure Cognitive Search or Coveo.
• Previous experience in an agency or consulting environment supporting SLAs.
