Job Description:

Mission: The SSO is responsible for supporting the physical security of the site and is a key actor in the overall Physical Security organization. It aims to prevent and protect people, information, products, and assets from potential threats by third parties, including unsocial and antisocial risks. The SSO secures and protects regulatory controlled areas and items in line with regulations, including responsibilities for defense. It manages and controls all economic, material, and human resources provided by the company to ensure the proper protection of personnel, assets, products, and sensitive information, in accordance with company policies, programs, and Spanish Private Security law.

Main activities and responsibilities:

  1. Conduct proper risk analyses and develop, implement, maintain, and update security plans and activities for the site or other AHE locations, including supervising security service execution in collaboration with the Head of Security at AHE Spain.
  2. Implement Airbus security policies, directives, procedures, and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations, including defense and national secrets laws.
  3. Manage security projects and facilities, including their maintenance.
  4. Ensure communication channels with national and local authorities are established and maintained for coordination and response to security incidents.
  5. Oversee both operational security (run) and continuous improvement projects related to security tools and processes, supporting the physical security organization.
  6. Collaborate with site management and business units to define, manage, and operate site security.
  7. Detect and respond to hostile acts directed at personnel or assets.
  8. Secure and protect regulated areas and classified information in compliance with regulations.
  9. Promote security awareness and communication activities among employees.
  10. Support aircraft/business programs in physical and product security management and implementation.
  11. Manage issues related to weapons and pyrotechnics.
  12. Conduct security inspections of company facilities.
  13. Collaborate with other security departments to ensure security strategy and policy deployment.
  14. Participate in security incident management, focusing on physical events.
  15. Advise on security matters for contractual clauses and security requirements with legal or governmental entities.
  16. Obtain approval from the Interior Ministry for managing private security.

Skills:

  • University degree or master's (engineering preferred).
  • Project management skills for developing security plans, managing projects, and collaborating across departments.
  • 10-15 years of management experience.
  • Completion of a security course approved by the Interior Ministry is required.
  • Languages: Mandatory English and Spanish; French is a plus.
