Boehringer Ingelheim in Sant Cugat del Vallès seeks an IT Operations Site Security Analyst to support the physical security of BI sites worldwide. You will work with a global team to develop, maintain and support security systems and processes protecting people and facilities.

You will analyze needs, assist with patches, monitor security tools and contribute to security projects. Strong documentation and teamwork are essential in this hands-on role.

Qualifikationen

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, MIS or relevant coursework with 0-2 years of experience; or a minimum of 2 years relevant Business or IT experience
• Basic Windows Server administration
• Basic administration of Windows operating systems
• Understanding of IP and VLAN segmentation, with basic firewall knowledge
• Understanding of PC architecture and hardware components
• Experience building and upgrading PC hardware
• Basic scripting skills in PowerShell/Bash and programming knowledge in Python/JavaScript
• Basic understanding of APIs and software interfaces
• Initial experience with AI agent development and workflow optimization (optional)
• Strong documentation practices and the ability to handle extended periods of paperwork
• Computer networking fundamentals
• Knowledge of system development life cycle methodology preferred
• Understanding of network security concepts including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, WAF, VPN preferred
• Languages: English required, German is a plus, not required

• Coordinate with site security and local operations on vulnerability management and patch cycles
• Understand and analyze business processes and needs with IT guidance
• Analyze requirements and propose solutions or improvements
• Collaborate with internal/external peers to ensure security solutions function properly
• Assess IT risks to data and systems including external/internal threats
• Partner with GFE Security to evaluate new technologies
• Perform baseline system support and maintenance duties; troubleshoot issues
• Support project teams and deliver on tasks
• Produce documentation for baseline and project activities
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Site Security Support & Innovation
• Support security platforms detecting issues (Video Surveillance, CCTV, EDR, IDS/IPS)
• Monitor signals from security tools and document processes for key users
