The Adecco Group, the world's second largest Human Resources provider and a Fortune Global 500 company, is looking for a Service Reliability Engineer to join a rapidly expanding DevOps Applications Support team that is multi-cultural and globally dispersed.
Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for representing IT production within development teams, building and deploying digital products, and maintaining infrastructure used by the group. The role facilitates communication between DevOps Application Support, Site Reliability Engineers, Product, and Cloud teams, working with best practices, group compliance, and protocols. The engineer will maintain adherence to critical processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management, and collaborate closely with Service Management and Service Integration functions. They will also drive continuous improvement in partnership with Adecco’s Managed Service Providers.
What you’ll be doing
- Represent IT Production within development teams, supporting design for applications, ensuring cost-effectiveness and supportability.
- Enable communication between DevOps Application Support, Service Reliability Engineers, Product, and Cloud teams.
- Coordinate with Security and Network teams.
- Manage the transition to production with the transition team.
- Proactively communicate with support teams about new product launches.
- Identify risks and known issues in pipeline products.
- Build and manage CI / CD pipelines for deploying applications and infrastructure.
- Create reliable and scalable solutions with attention to capacity and cost management.
- Identify automation opportunities using IaC and scripting tools such as PowerShell, Bash, ARM templates.
- Produce detailed technical documentation.
- Explain complex solutions to non-technical stakeholders and contribute to team knowledge base.
- Provide rotational, on-call operational support for cloud services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve all production issues, including root cause analysis and long-term remediation.
- Reduce incidents and MTTR.
- Produce status reports and quality metrics.
- Maintain and test business continuity plans.
- Conduct capacity and demand planning to ensure future system capabilities and scalability.
- Create service entries in CMDB for new products.
- Develop documentation on practices, patterns, and processes as cloud operations evolve.
- Communicate system status, maintenance windows, and product performance to stakeholders.
- Engage in regular communication with the Core Cloud Team regarding automation, standardization, and new standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations if necessary.
About you
- At least 3 years of experience designing and operating high-performance, secure, multi-tenant cloud services supporting CI / CD models.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as App Service, Traffic Manager, API Management, with certification or ability to obtain certifications like AZ-104, AZ-700 within 6 months.
- Proficiency in AKS, Docker, and understanding of DevOps practices and container orchestration.
- Experience with CI / CD pipelines and automation using IaC tools and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, ARM).
- Knowledge of core infrastructure components including DNS, TCP / IP, firewalls, and security principles.
- Development experience in Java, NodeJS, Python, C++, or C#.
- Experience working with XML and JSON data formats.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of web platforms and CMS systems.
- MLOps experience is a plus.
