We are currently seeking a Site Lead IT Field Technician in Aftermarket to join our team.

This role is based onsite at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport, 08820 El Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain.

What you will do in this role :

1. Maintain and manage our Collins airport sites, customer relations, and partnerships with local Airport Authorities.
2. Monitor and manage our subcontractors and/or suppliers onsite to ensure Collins services meet standards and customer expectations.
3. Engage with customers, gather feedback, and maintain good relationships.
4. Respond to customer complaints and conduct satisfaction investigations to develop improvement plans.
5. Coordinate, prioritize, and resolve issues encountered by the team.
6. Optimize manpower, equipment, energy, and standard time usage.
7. Escalate key issues impacting the business.
8. Manage the team according to established programs and objectives.

Quality Issue Management

1. Coordinate servicing, operation, maintenance, repair, and removal of equipment.
2. Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements.
3. Manage technical products, services, logistics, provisioning, and configurations for customers.
4. Troubleshoot technical problems and recommend actions.
5. Assess product needs based on customer specifications.
6. Act as the local on-site Collins Aerospace representative to the customer's organization.
7. Manage statements of work to meet customer and contract requirements.

Experience / Qualifications we prefer :

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, management information systems, or a related aviation field, with proven experience, preferably in airport or aviation field services.
• Experience managing technical professionals, engaging, motivating, and leading teams.
• ITIL Foundation certification; service operations certification is a plus.
• Experience supporting Cisco network devices in a live environment.
• Knowledge of Windows Server is a plus.
• Experience dealing with Airport Operators in Spain.
• Broad knowledge of Special Airport Systems (SAS), including operational systems, baggage reconciliation, and passenger processing systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed team environment globally.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the country and occasionally internationally.

The successful candidate must be a Spanish national or have the right to work and live in Spain.
