Job Description :

We are looking for a simulation software engineer specializing in the Eurofighter flight simulator domain.

As part of the combat simulation team in Getafe, you will work with an international group, maintaining regular contact with our German colleagues.

Responsibilities include :

• Derive system requirements from operational needs for new simulator functionalities.
• Update existing simulation models of aircraft equipment.
• Implement software models using C++ and ADA.
• Create and execute unit, system, and acceptance tests (C++, Python, Jenkins).
• Perform integration testing.
• Manage software configuration.
• Develop tools for testing and simulation systems (e.g., Code / ICD Generators).
• Coordinate development efforts with international partners and customers.
• Document processes according to company standards.

Required Skills :

• Experience with the Eurofighter program is advantageous.
• General avionics knowledge is a plus.
• Proven experience in software design and testing.
• Proficiency in procedural and object-oriented programming.
• Experience in unit, system testing, and software integration.
• Ability to produce documentation in English following software lifecycle processes.
• Strong knowledge of tools / technologies including :
• DOORS, C++, Ada 95, QML, OpenGL, Bash, Python, Powershell.
• Linux at an advanced level.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, and communication protocols like TCP / IP, RS422, 1553.
• Experience in the simulation domain (avionics, rehostings, visual systems) is beneficial.

• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the EU (~1 week every two months).
