apeirum is seeking a Simulation Engineer for Robotic Drive Systems in Barcelona to build and evolve an internal simulation and visualization platform used in complex engineering design. You will develop and improve simulation capabilities for robotic actuators and drive systems, and work on models, workflows, and interfaces to support engineering teams.

• Experience with simulation, modeling, or system analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB/Simulink, Modelica, or similar.
• Programming skills in Python or similar languages; experience with web interfaces, APIs, or data visualization is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, validate, and maintain simulation models for robotic drive systems, including motors, gearheads, sensors, controllers, and loads.
• Create simulation workflows to evaluate drive performance, thermal behavior, control response, and system-level requirements.
• Collaborate with robotics, control, and application engineers to translate real-world drive behavior into reliable simulation models.
• Improve simulation accuracy, model usability, and visualization of key drive-system parameters.
• Contribute to user-friendly simulation interfaces, dashboards, or web-based tools for configuring and running simulations.
• Develop reusable model libraries and supporting software tools for robotic drives.
