Helsing, based in Barcelona, seeks a Senior Mechanical Robotics Engineer to own the mechanical architecture from concept through production. You will lead complex robotic subsystems and ensure robust, scalable platforms for real-world deployment, working closely with electrical, firmware, and software teams.

You will apply CAD mastery, GD&T discipline, and advanced analyses to optimise performance, manufacturability, and lead-time across the full development cycle.

Formación

• Shipped complex robotic or automated systems across the full development cycle.
• Expertise in 3D CAD modelling, especially SolidWorks, with GD&T knowledge.
• Experience in FEA, stress analysis and tolerance stack-up analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Lead detailed design and integration of robotic subsystems (actuators, chassis, motion).
• Coordinate with electrical and software teams for packaging, routing, thermal and sensor integration.
• Define material strategies, perform FEA and tolerance analyses to meet cost and lead-time targets.
• Establish mechanical engineering best practices, modelling standards and technical documentation.
• Evaluate architectures in design reviews and drive manufacturability from prototype to production.
