Cubic³ is seeking a SIM Engineer Level I to design, validate, and maintain SIM/eSIM profiles and to develop Java Card applets. You will collaborate across mobile core networks, security, and device vendors to deliver compliant solutions for global customers.

The role emphasizes hands-on SIM/eSIM work, documentation, and testing within an evolving connectivity domain. Onsite probation is required before flexible work options are considered.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of telecoms/ connectivity experience.
• Proven experience with SIM/eSIM technologies and protocols (APDU, ISO 7816).
• Knowledge of 3GPP, ETSI, GSMA standards.
• Experience with Java, Java Card, or scripting languages.
• Familiarity with mobile network elements and smart card technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; quality-focused and self-motivated.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, validate, and maintain electrical and logical profiles for SIM and eSIM products.
• Develop and implement Java Card applets for SIM/eSIM services, ensuring compliance with 3GPP, ETSI, and GSMA standards.
• Create and update technical documentation (e.g., applet specifications, test plans).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning mobile core networks, security, and device vendors.
• Support the development, testing, and integration of SIM-based applications and tools.
• Utilize smart card test and trace tools to ensure quality and performance.
• Participate in technical reviews, troubleshooting, and team meetings.
