Job Title : Short-Term Artisan Production Expert – Boutique Workshop Setup (Laser, Engraving, 3D Printing, Digital Craftsmanship)

Location : Jeddah / Saudi Arabia Duration : Three months - Contract / Freelance

About the Workshop : We are establishing a high-end boutique workshop (not industrial-scale) specializing in bespoke artisanal products : luxury gift boxes, custom frames, fine jewellery, leather goods, and gallery-worthy art pieces. Our space blends traditional craftsmanship with precision digital tools (laser cutting, 3D printing, engraving) to create unique, small-batch heirloom-quality items.

Role Overview : We seek a hands-on expert to guide the setup of our workshop—from selecting the right artisan-grade machines / tools (e.g., laser engravers, small-format CNC, digital cutters) to training our small team in delicate, artistic production techniques. You’ll help us balance technology and hand-finishing for refined, gallery-level outputs.

Key Responsibilities : - Advise on purchasing boutique-appropriate machines / equipment (e.g., fine-detail laser cutters, desktop 3D printers, precision engravers) for small-scale, high-quality production. - Train our team in artistic digital fabrication—ensuring meticulous finishing, material selection (wood, leather, acrylic, metals), and tool maintenance. - Help design an efficient, inspirational workspace (think artist studio vs. factory floor). - Share best practices for low-volume, high-detail production workflows.

Ideal Candidate : - Experience setting up or working in small artisan workshops, luxury ateliers, or craft-focused makerspaces. - Deep knowledge of digital fabrication tools (laser cutters, engravers, 3D printers) for artistic applications—not mass production. - Passion for hand-finishing, mixed-media artistry, and teaching meticulous techniques. - Ability to recommend suppliers for fine materials / tools (e.g., Italian leather, premium hardwoods).
