Celebrity Cruises seeks an experienced Baker to operate and control the ship's Bakery Shop daily, ensuring quality and presentation of bread for all menus. You will assist in forecasting production, reducing waste, and upholding USPH standards on board.

Formación

• Three years' experience as a Baker in upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or banqueting service, shipboard preferred.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements, and use of equipment.
• Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure smooth operation and control of Bakery Shop and daily production per policies.
• Oversee production, quality, and presentation of bread for daily menus.
• Assist Head Baker with forecasts and waste recording to control costs.
• Assist in setting up bread display in buffets.
• Maintain knowledge of USPH rules and ensure daily compliance.
• Ensure bakery cleanliness per Executive Chef’s schedule and protect equipment.
• Prepare bakery for USPH inspections by management or inspectors.
• Manage requisition and transport of items from main stores to bakery.
• Ensure recipes and yields meet company standards.
• Assist in daily consumption recap with the Executive Chef.
• Acquire necessary knowledge to assist guests and crew with inquiries.
• Attend required meetings, training, and work activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
