Formación

  • Operational management experience in FMCG or large businesses required.
  • People management experience in an operational unit within a unionized environment preferred.
  • Fluent in local language and advanced English.

Job purpose

Manage the shift of your Cell / Area in all aspects (operational: productivity, yields, asset care; QESH, Labour: attendance, support, training) to ensure it meets output requirements within efficiency, quality, costs, and CRS targets, through high engagement. Ensure smooth transition through effective communication with previous and subsequent Team leaders.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct shift handovers: receive and transfer all necessary information for smooth operations.
  • Implement Short Interval Control routines (SIC) to ensure operations run under standard conditions and address ongoing issues.
  • Support the team leading daily reliefs and operational activities (Raw Material management, last-minute changes, issue resolution, communication with other Cells / Areas).
  • Ensure routines and activities are executed (CIL: Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication; PDT: Planned Down Times; Quality controls; Safety observations) and that action plans are implemented.
  • Complete shift and daily reports for the Cell / Area and Plant routines.
  • Use data analysis for Continuous Improvement in Performance, Yields, Asset Care, and Quality issues.
  • Manage available labour resources to optimize production based on the schedule.
  • Coordinate with Technical Trainers to plan, prepare, and execute training and succession plans for the team.
  • Balance short-term (daily, weekly) and medium-term (monthly) activities and focus.

Key stakeholders

Internal: Customer service & supply chain: Area manager, Team Leaders, Production Admin, Production Support, QA Manager, Reliability Engineers, Raw Material Warehouse, Scheduling Planner.

Experience preferred

People management in an operational unit within a unionized environment.

Operational management experience in FMCG or large businesses, including health & safety, raw materials/yield management, environmental and food quality standards.
