This person must be process and controls oriented, open minded, continuous improvement focused, and able to motivate the team for a high level of performance.

    • Ensures adherence to CSS Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Risk Control Matrices (RCMs), and drives continuous and controlled improvement processes throughout span of responsibilities
    • Drives prioritization and clarity in day-to-day tasks for team
    Key Responsibilities
    • Responsible for various accounting processes that are part of the accounting close
    • Knowledge in Banking Management and FX transaction
    • Perform various complex accounting tasks as needed including account reconciliations, analysis, and journal entry preparation as required
    • Provide support for ongoing audit requirements including quarterly and annual internal and external compliance audits
    • Implement process improvements that contribute to increased efficiency and controls
    • Prioritize ongoing tasks, project work, and other initiatives, for self
    • Apply technical accounting knowledge, Excel skills, and General Ledger skills to resolve problems, identify improvement opportunities
    • Monitor operation effectiveness using KPI’s and dashboards, determining organizational health and readiness
    • Maintain strong accounting controls by complying with established RCM’s, process narratives and accounting principles and policies
    • Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential
    • Assist in development and implementation of new procedures, processes and automations to enhance the workflow of the department.
    Experiences/Education - Required
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
    • Accounting coursework through Intermediate Accounting II
    • 2+ years experience as a Financial/Accounting Analyst
    • Understanding of Shared Services operations
    • Basic understanding of US GAAP
    • PeopleSoft, SAP ECC, and SAP S4Hana ERP knowledge
    • Understanding of transactional, functional and reporting currency
