Maintenance Engineer

Bolton Food Spain is looking for talented candidates to fill the position of Maintenance Engineer. This role involves designing, planning, and supervising the annual preventive maintenance plan to ensure the operational efficiency of equipment and facilities. The Maintenance Engineer will also coordinate legal inspections and promote continuous improvement in processes and workflows, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and manage the annual preventive maintenance plan, ensuring proper execution and alignment with operational needs.
  2. Create and update maintenance procedures, including audit checklists similar to manufacturing orders.
  3. Monitor and follow up on legal inspections of critical equipment, such as autoclaves, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  4. Identify and implement improvements in maintenance processes and workflows to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
  5. Coordinate and track training plans to enhance the technical skills of mechanics, supporting their continuous development.
  6. Participate in daily management meetings, reporting progress, incidents, and proposals for improvement.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AUTOCAD.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English; proficiency in French or Italian is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Methodical problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proactive, quick learner, and committed to excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Effective communicator, trustworthy, and capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Resilient, flexible, and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires a constant presence on-site at the plant.
