Formación

• Fuerte experiencia en producción de animación 3D, especialmente en entornos y props.
• Comprensión sólida de modelado, UVs, sombreado y ensamblaje de escenas.

Responsabilidades

• Modelar sets y props con geometría limpia y proporciones correctas.
• Asegurar que los activos funcionen dentro del pipeline de producción.
• Coordinar con supervisores y producción para optimizar el flujo de trabajo.

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Sets and Props Technical Director (TD) to join our team for an upcoming 3D animated series. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between the artistic and technical teams, ensuring the set dressing that sets and props are optimized, functional, and ready for use throughout the animation pipeline.

Responsibilities:

Sets and Props Preparation

• Model Sets and Props with clean geometry, correct proportions, good topology, and properly laid-out UVs.
• Prepare assets for rigging, Lookdev and Texturing.
• Follow naming conventions and studio asset standards.
• Create the set dressing.

Pipeline Integration

• Ensure assets work within the pipeline.
• Troubleshoot and validate sets and props files.
• Collaborate with the pipeline team if needed.

Collaboration

• Coordinate with supervisors & production (Modeling, Rigging, Animation, Texturing).
• Provide feedback and receive notes during reviews.
• Support cross-department needs.

R&D & Tests

• Build prototypes and tech tests for future projects.
• Help improve workflows with the R&D team.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in 3D animation production, particularly in environments and props.
• Solid understanding of modeling, UVs, shading, and scene assembly.
• Proficiency in Maya.
• Stay updated on tools, techniques, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with asset management systems and studio pipeline integration.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Fluency in English.
• EU nationality or work permit.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with render engines like Arnold, Redshift, or similar.
• Background in rigging or procedural asset generation.
• Experience working on animated series or feature films.
