ASP.NET Web Developer (Worldwide or in 1 of our offices)

Siteways Iberia is a team of innovative business experts from around the globe. We develop and maintain online platforms and social networks, focusing on the most engaging niche in the world.

We are currently seeking medium to senior ASP.NET Web Developers who can work remotely from anywhere in the world or from one of our offices.

Primary responsibilities include:

1. Participating in project development based on assigned specifications
2. Writing and commenting code accurately
3. Reporting work progress regularly
4. Participating in code reviews

Required skills:

• At least 5 years of experience with .NET versions 2.0, 3.5, 4.0
• Minimum 3 years of experience or strong knowledge of Entity Framework & LINQ, including writing queries for selecting, filtering, grouping, and joining data from object sources
• Experience with MVC architecture
• Familiarity with web service data sources, object data, LINQ to SQL entities
• Using queries for AJAX HTML/JSON data
• Proficiency with jQuery selectors, parsing JSON data, HTML manipulation (add/remove), jQuery effects/easing, data/field injection

Preferred additional skills:

• Experience with ASP.NET using VB.NET
• Node.js server and client-side coding
• Knowledge of HTML5 elements (video, audio, canvas)
• Experience with Flash and ActionScript
• Java programming experience
